Assessment:

A Neuropsychological evaluation provides a behavioral map, determined by performance on different tasks that measure specific neurocognitive functions, such as:

In order to assess these areas, the client may be asked to complete tasks using a variety of means, such as verbally, through writing, or on a computer.

Appointments:

Testing is broken up into three appointments: 

  1. Initial intake with the doctor 
  2. Testing (approximately 2 hours)
  3. Feedback Appointment (Results of the testing)

However, the first two appointments are often scheduled consecutively, same day for patient’s convenience. A report will be generated to take home the day of the feedback appointment. Results will also be sent to primary care physician per patient's request.
